Hello, we are the MOUNTAIN WOLVES

The Bergwolf tribe was founded in Sillenbuch in 1951. We currently meet on Saturday afternoons in our scout garden on the edge of the Silver Forest. Together we romp, do handicrafts, play, sing.... Most of the time, however, we are out and about in the forest, then often off the beaten track on paths that we find ourselves. There is always something to discover or do in the forest. However, we often go on trips lasting several days, hikes with overnight stays, which we call Hajk, and take part in campaigns, e.g. a sustainability day. Our activities are often joint actions with scout groups from other parts of the city, e.g. the tribes Feuerreiter (BdP) from Botnang and Ulrich von Hutten (DPB Hohenstaufen) from Degerloch. The biggest project this year is participation in the federal camp in Bavaria. More than 4000 scouts from all over Germany are expected there!

Children between the ages of 6 and 11 are cubs and form a pack. Our pack, the FLINKE FROSCHE, meet on Saturdays between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Children/adolescents from 12 to 16 years are scouts and form a guild. Our guild, the GOLDEN GECKOS, also meet on Saturdays between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Both active groups are currently about 10 children / young people strong. What is special about our groups is that we are quite international. We're always happy when new people come along and want to take part, and language doesn't have to be an obstacle. Gladly also rangers/rovers who have come to Stuttgart for training/studies/work and can't give up being a boy scout. The invitation also applies if you come from another scout association.

Our scout association is the BdP, Association of Girl Scouts. We belong to the rdp, the ring of German girl scouts and boy scouts, and to the world organizations WOSM and WAGGGS.

The BdP is free and cosmopolitan. He is not affiliated with or associated with any religion or political organization. Of course, the BdP bases its work on the Basic Law.

GOOD PATH!
